But when with each other they find a passion so strong that it heals as powerfully as it burns, a love that will run out is no longer an option for them. Together, they discover just how far they are willing to go to preserve what they know they will only find once in their lifetime. This is the start of their journey, and here you will come to realize, that falling in love is only the first part of the story…
My Review of The Beginning of Never
I want more, I want more! I guess it is good that this is a series and this is just the beginning of the story. This is O.E. Boroni’s debut novel and the first of a three book series. While I loved the main plot there were times when I felt a little restless with the book but I think that was because I just wanted to get back to Nora and Nathan the main characters. It is a fantastic story is about a budding romance between two boarding school students who have majors doubts about love. I believe many teenagers and adults can relate to this book and even more so if you have divorced parents.
The book is written from Nora’s point of view in first person. She is a very harden girl very depressed from her mothers passing 3 year ago. She is very temperamental and is really just going through the motions. Nathan is the quiet strong type, who gets a little uncomfortable about all the attention he gets from the girls at the school. Nora and Nathan just seem to keep crossing paths in the worst ways, in fact they have an opposite of a meet-cute and really dislike each other. This of course left me constantly routing for them…. come on admit you like each other, kiss kiss kiss, just tell each other how you feel! Even though Nora and Nathan both have temper problems they seemed mature for their age and like the kind of people that really could meet their soul mates in high school, but like I said before this is just beginning of the story and I can’t wait to read the second book to see how it continues. Thought the use of Never in the titles worries me about how the series will end.
About the Author
I currently live in England. My days are spent in the Project Management field while my nights are spent with books. I’m either reading them or writing the ones that I want to read. My favorite things and in this particular order are books, Korean dramas, ice cream, and people who smile through everything. I consistently tell people that these are the four things they need to be happy but do they believe me?
No! Well I believe me, and you should too.
