Books and Bloggers Book Swap Reveal

Book Swap

New Books! Oh My! I was so excited when I heard about Chaotic Goddess Swaps, Books and Bloggers Book Swap just in time to sign up. I love reading good books. How the book swap works is you get assigned a partner who likes similar genres. Then you peruse each other book wish list  and send 3 books (one from their list, one you read and loved and one you have not read but are interested in reading). I cannot wait to sit down with  my books and a cup of coffee (in my new mug I just made, order you custom logo mug today!).

My partner is Tamara from Pen, Paper, Pad. I was so excited to receive my package from her after a long weekend of photographing weddings.  I torn it open so fast.

For a book from my list she sent me The Fault in Our Stars, by John Green. I know I know, it is way overdue that I read this book.

“Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel’s story is about to be completely rewritten.” -Amazon Synopsis

A Book she Loved is Graceling, by Kristin Cahsore. I am so excited to read this. I love that it is a series and it seems right up my alley.

“Kristin Cashore’s best-selling, award-winning fantasy Graceling tells the story of the vulnerable yet strong Katsa, a smart, beautiful teenager who lives in a world where selected people are given a Grace, a special talent that can be anything from dancing to swimming. Katsa’s is killing. As the king’s niece, she is forced to use her extreme skills as his thug. Along the way, Katsa must learn to decipher the true nature of her Grace . . . and how to put it to good use. A thrilling, action-packed fantasy adventure (and steamy romance!) that will resonate deeply with adolescents trying to find their way in the world.”-Amazon Synopsis

A Book she has not read but is interrested in is Red Queen, by Victoria Aveyard. I had this book on my wish list also. Another series that I have heard good things about!  Plus I loved The Selection  which is has been compared to.

Graceling meets The Selection in debut novelist Victoria Aveyard’s sweeping tale of seventeen-year-old Mare, a common girl whose once-latent magical power draws her into the dangerous intrigue of the king’s palace. Will her power save her or condemn her?” -Amazon Synopsis
