It is officially my favorite time of year! October means time for pumpkins, pumpkin flavored EVERYTHING and enjoying the wonderful weather. I also love fall crafts so I decided to make a monogrammed candy corn window decal for our front door. It was a very easy project using my Silhouette Cameo and Angel Craft Vinyl. If you have never used Angel Craft Vinyl I highly recommend it for you vinyl crafts. It was very easy to weed and transfer with a 5-year durability for both indoors and outdoors. It is made in the USA and comes in 35 colors. You can choose 12×12 or 6×12 packs in all 35 colors or one of their 4 color packs. It is reasonably priced on Amazon with free shipping for Prime members. This is a great pack to buy if you are just getting started with vinyl projects or if like me you like to have plenty of color options on hand for whatever next creative idea you have.
How to Cut a Candy Corn Window Decal
3 – 6×12 sheets of Angel Craft Vinyl (orange, yellow and white)
Candy Corn Cute file (provided by me)
Step 1: Set up your Design Area to 6×12 and Open the Candy Corn Cut File (provided below)
Step 2: Select all three sections and resize so that the top portion will fit in the design area (be sure you resize all three sections at the same time so it will line up when finished)
Step 3: Move the other section to the side and cut the top section using orange vinyl
Step 4: Now put the middle section onto the design area and cut using yellow vinyl
Step 5: If you want to monogram your candy corn, size your chosen font to fit in the middle section and then cut the monogram and the bottom on white vinyl
I received the Angel Craft Vinyl at a discount for my honest review. This is no way affected my opinion.
