Make your blog photos, videos or Etsy products stand out by creating backdrops that only cost a few dollars! Today I show you how I made this book page backdrop that I plan to use as a backdrop for my book review videos and photos. Next week I will show you how I add a removable tassel garland.

Supplies Used:

-2 foam boards from the Dollar Tree
– Mod Podge
– Foam Brush
-Tape
-An Old Book (mine was free from a local recycling center, you can also find cheap books at thrift stores and the Dollar Tree)

Step 1. Lay the boards side by side so that the edges are flush, tape around the middle on both sides. Backdrop-2

Step 2. Take torn out book pages and Mod Podge them sporadically all over the boards. Backdrop-5 Backdrop-6

Step 3: Let Dry. Note: The pages will look very wrinkled but will smooth out on their own once they dry.
Backdrop-8 Step 4: Once dry cut away the overhanging book pages. Backdrop-9

Note: The board will curl inward but this helps it stand.
