About the book: Let’s Learn about the Lord’s Prayer (David C. Cook, September 2015)

In this first book of the HeartSmart series, preschoolers are invited on a playdate with Emma. Together they learn the Lord’s Prayer and practice “teaching” it to Emma’s favorite teddy bear.

Introducing HeartSmart, a Scripture memory series designed to create opportunities for children to fill their heart with God’s Word. HeartSmart combines key Scriptures with songs, giving parents a spiritual formation path for building a strong foundation of faith.

The entire Lord’s Prayer is included, along with a custom song (free download with access code).

My Review:

I LOVE THIS BOOK! Every house should have one. This is a beautifully illustrated book that teaches children about the Lord’s Prayer. Emma is our main character and she explains the Lord’s Prayer line by line in simple language that is easy for kids to understand, just as her mom taught it to her. My daughter is only 18 months but she loves books and we read this one all the time. It is sure to be worn and tattered as we will continue to read it often as she grows. Since I think it is never to early to begin to read to children this book would be a wonderful gift for a new mom.
This book is the first is a Scripture memory series for children and I can not wait for more books. Two more books will be out next year and in 2017 the HeartSmart Bible Storybook for ages 4-8 will be out. I can not wait to give my daughter the Bible storybook for Christmas in 2017.

I received this book for free for my honest review. All opinions are my own.
