Our Ten Most Recommended Baby Registry Items

Top Recommended Baby Registry Items

There are so many things to register for when you are expecting a baby, Chris and I were so excited… and a little overwhelmed about it all. I couldn’t wait to get cute baby clothes, blankets, and everything else you need. When it came time to register I spoke with other mom’s, read blogs and read reviews to get some help making decisions about what to pick. I made a list of some of the top recommended items that we added to our registry. (Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links but all opinions are my own.)

  1. Fisher Price My Litte Snuga Swing
Our nephew has the Snugamonkey swing and he loves it. He takes naps in it or just enjoys watching the monkeys and listening to the music. We picked out the Snugapuppy version for Ali.
  2. Boppy
Bobby has such a good reputation that I didn’t need to ask about this one. I knew we would need it for feedings.
  3. Britax Carseat with Extra Base
After lots of research and recommendations we decided we wanted a Britax infant carseat and stroller.  We initially picked out the Britax Chaperone because we loved the extra safety features, but it is the largest infant carseat on the market and even in our Ford Escape the front passenger seat was practically in the dash. It was also pretty heavy, without the baby, and I wasn’t sure if I could lift it to but in the car base. We traded it for the Britax B-Safe which is a bit smaller and lighter.
  4. Britax B-Agile Stroller
We loved the size of the B-Agile Stroller and either of the Britax infant carseats snaps into it. We also added the Britax Stroller Organizer and the Child Tray to the registry.
  5. Ergobaby Carrier
My sister in-law highly recommended this carrier she fells like it is more comfortable than others on the market. I cannot wait to carried baby Ali around in ours.
  6. Motorola® Digital Video Baby Monitor with 3.5 Inch Color LCD Screen
    C
hris liked this baby monitor from the moment he played with it in the store. Turns out it is highly recommended because it of it’s lack of frequency interference such as picking up someone else’s baby monitor signal. It has some really cool features: tells the temperature in the nursery, you can tilt and pan the camera with the monitor and you can talk to your baby through the monitor.
  7. Graco Pack ‘n Play® On The Go Travel Playard
We just wanted a simple, quality pack ‘n play that would double as a bassinet in our room for when baby girl first comes home. Graco has many great reviews.
  8. Dekor Classic Hands Free Diaper Pail
The recommendation for this diaper pail was passed along to me with a story of new parents who returned several other brands because they smelled so bad until they finally got the Dekor.
  9. Skip Hop Day-to-Night Diaper Tote
    I
love the Skip Hop Diaper Bags… I had a hard time picking which one I wanted. My favorite thing is that it is stylish and doesn’t scream “Diaper Bag.”
  10. Fisher-Price Penguin Pal Tub
    M
y nephew has the Whale version of this tub and he loves bath time. They are a good size and come with cute little toys to sprinkle water on baby.
