So I added an awesome new tool to my DIY and crafting supplies… A Silhouette Cameo.  It is a die cutting machine that works with software you install on your computer. So why did I choose the Silhouette? After seeing and awesome banner a friend made for a shower I knew it was time to update my die cutting machine. I was really torn about what to buy, there are some really great machines out there. What ultimately won me over was that the Silhouette Software works on a Mac… other software I looked at  only had beta Mac versions or installed a plugin that ran the Windows version. While that probably would have worked I felt more secure in with the Silhouette Software. Silhouette Cameo comes with software but I chose to upgrade to the designer version that allows you to import your own SVG files.

There are so so soooo many new projects I have planned but I have started with using vinyl. I have been cutting out vinyl stencils to etch ornaments which you can purchase in my esty store.  The first thing I did was turn a clearance tray into a personalized tray for my cocktail ottoman.
